Hi, I'm Rebecca Salamone.
I was the girl chasing every dream β until the Lord rewrote them.
Why I created Ambitious with God
I chased achievement, productivity, and the next milestone with everything I had. I lived in a big city, worked long hours at a top consulting firm, and later joined a Harvard-based start-up.
I built my life around ambition, and truthfully, it was the kind of life that looks impressive from the outside. I wanted to make the most of my gifts, create a meaningful life, and prove that I was capable.
I believed that if I just worked harder, achieved more, or became more successful, then I would finally feel fulfilled.
I lived in a constant cycle of striving, overthinking, pressure, and overwhelm. I carried the weight of needing to do more, be more, achieve more. Even my relationship with God sometimes became tangled up in performance, and wondering if I was doing enough, praying enough, succeeding enough.
The world told me burnout was normal.
That stress was simply the price of ambition.
That peace could wait until βsomeday.β
But eventually, my soul could not keep living at that pace.
As I stepped into my 30s, the Lord began inviting me into a different way of living. I began learning that true success is not found in endless striving, but rather, it is found in becoming the woman God created you to be.
Not a smaller life.
Not a less meaningful life.
But a slower, deeper, freer life.
A life rooted in peace instead of pressure.
A life led by clarity instead of constant hustle.
A life built with God instead of trying to outrun myself.
And that changes everything.
I began longing for softness. For slowness. For femininity. For joy.
I would look at women who seemed peaceful and grounded β the women who wore pretty dresses, took care of themselves with ease, created beautiful homes, loved deeply, laughed often, and lived with calmness instead of constant urgency πΈ
The women who felt present. Feminine. Joyful. At peace.
The women who had built lives centered around what truly mattered: faith, family, love, beauty, and a relationship with the Lord.
And honestly, I wanted that too.
I no longer wanted a life that looked successful on paper but left me anxious, disconnected, and emotionally depleted.
As I stepped into my 30s, the Lord began gently leading me toward a different way of living π€
Not a smaller life. Not a less meaningful life. But a softer, deeper, freer life.
A life rooted in peace instead of pressure. A life led by clarity instead of constant hustle. A life where ambition no longer controlled me. A life built with God instead of trying to outrun myself.
And slowly, everything began changing.
To Enable More Women to Live a Life Aligned with the Father β¨
I created Ambitious With God for Catholic women who feel caught between their ambition and their peace.
Women who deeply love God⦠but secretly feel overwhelmed. Women who are successful on paper⦠but exhausted internally. Women who are carrying anxiety, burnout, confusion, perfectionism, or pressure to hold everything together. Women who are tired of constantly living in survival mode.
I know what it feels like to look like you have it all together while internally feeling disconnected from yourself, from peace, and sometimes even from God.
And I also know the freedom that comes when you stop building your life around constant performance and start building it around the Lord π
Through coaching, I help Catholic women:
- βBreak free from burnout and chronic overwhelm
- βFind clarity in seasons of confusion and transition
- βHeal unhealthy patterns of perfectionism and over-striving
- βReconnect with their identity in Christ
- βCreate rhythms of peace, rest, and intentional living
- βEmbrace femininity, softness, and joyful living
- βPursue ambition without sacrificing their soul
- βBuild a life that feels aligned, beautiful, and deeply rooted in God
Because you were never created to spend your life anxious, depleted, and constantly trying to earn your worth.
You were made for peace π· You were made for joy βοΈ You were made for freedom ποΈ
